Season of Gifts

By December 5, 2015Uncategorized

During the month of December, we are asking everyone to perform random acts of kindness to those around them. You don’t have to attend Harvest to be a part of 10,000 Gifts; in fact, I hope that people want to join our efforts whether they attend another church, or no church at all. Now, I know that 10,000 acts of kindness is a lot, but I don’t want to dream small! This might seem like a crazy idea, but what if it works? I don’t know where this series will take us, but I do know that one act of kindness can change a person’s day, maybe even their life.

Just imagine what 10,000 acts of kindness can do! What if this year Christmas was about giving back to our communities? What if we actively looked for ways to love the people around us? I think it could have an impact on families and neighborhoods, maybe even entire towns. I know for a fact that it will change your own heart and that is always a good thing. I hope that you join us in this exciting effort! And I hope that you’ll consider checking out our Christmas Eve services , when we’ll look back on everything we were able to accomplish. Let’s do something amazing – let’s give the people around us 10,000 Gifts!
