Tuesday, February 26th (6pm – 8pm)
College 101 is a great opportunity for rising juniors and seniors and their parents to:
- Meet with local college representatives
- Hear about financial aid and how to complete the FAFSA and understand HOPE eligibility
- Find out about local scholarships
This will also provide current seniors who have not yet submitted applications a chance to speak with a representative and move forward.
Applying to college can prove to be a daunting task. This event will help students pinpoint some key items to consider when making decisions about what college to attend, and explore the options available within the state. We will also demystify that process of applying to college by giving students the opportunity to talk to college representatives. Participants will also hear from a financial aid advisor about a variety of options available to pay for college cost as well as applying for scholarships.
The following schools will be in attendance:
Toccoa Falls College
Emmanuel College
Wesleyan College
Middle Georgia State University
Georgia College
Gordon State College
